Vibrant and thriving. In the heart of Africa, Rwanda is one of Africa’s most biodiverse regions. Its bustling capital, Kigali, exemplifies cleanliness and order; plastic bags are banned and car-less Mondays are encouraged. Fiercely protective over its wilderness and land, we are proud to be involved in reforestation programmes and the protection of endangered wildlife.

Rwanda boasts over 700 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. Many of these species can be found in the various national parks and protected areas throughout the country.

Rwanda enjoys a delightful temperate tropical highland climate due to its elevated terrain. Despite being located near the equator, it experiences lower temperatures than expected. In Kigali, daily temperatures typically range from 12°C to 27°C, with minimal variation year-round. The mountainous northwest, home to places like Bisate, tends to be cooler compared to the warmer, lower-lying east.
