Rwanda enjoys a delightful temperate tropical highland climate due to its elevated terrain. Despite being located near the equator, it experiences lower temperatures than expected. In Kigali, daily temperatures typically range from 12°C to 27°C, with minimal variation year-round. Day 2: Kigali to Akagera National Park (3-4 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park, known for its diverse wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon and spot some of Africa's most iconic animals.

Spend the day exploring Akagera National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Keep your camera ready to capture stunning wildlife moments amidst the picturesque landscapes.

Day 4: Akagera to Nyungwe Forest National Park (7-8 hours)

Travel to Nyungwe Forest National Park, home to a variety of primate species including chimpanzees and colobus monkeys. Enjoy scenic views along the way as you journey through Rwanda's countryside.

Day 5: Nyungwe Forest Canopy Walk and Chimpanzee Trek

Embark on an exhilarating canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest, offering panoramic views of the forest canopy and surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, trek through the forest in search of chimpanzees and other primates.

Day 6: Nyungwe to Volcanoes National Park (6-7 hours)
